Unbox & Review - Herbal Essences Naked Collection Volume Kit (Winner!)

Today I am unboxing and reviewing the
Herbal Essences Naked Collection Volume Kit.

The first thing that I will say is that I absolutely LOVE that it comes in its own box together from the manufacturer instead of the products shipping separately in a larger box from Walmart. It it much more secure and you don't have to worry about bottles rolling around, breaking open, and making a mess during shipping.

The kit comes in a white box, it is very plain and nondescript.
Once opened though, it is unique and eye catching with a bright "cover"
that you need to lift to get to the product.

On the back of the cover is product information conveniently placed above each product's location in the box. There is also a small insert included with information on other
Herbal Essences Naked products.

Now, onward to our review!
I'm going to start off with the shampoo and conditioner.
The Naked Volume shampoo and conditioner both smell wonderful. The scent is grapefruit and mint. It sounds like a weird combination, but it turns out to be a good combination. Usually I'm against fruit and/or mint scents because they can be super strong and over powering. This has a soft, lingering scent that is surprisingly pleasant.
The shampoo leaves your hair feeling squeaky clean alone (a feeling I don't like).
BUT, when used with the conditioner, you get super soft hair with some extra bounce.

The dry shampoo works great for me.
I haven't tried it on super dirty hair, so I'm not sure how well it will handle really greasy hair.
I just used it after not washing my hair for 3 days. It absorbs oil well, to the point where you honestly can't tell that hair is unwashed, and it adds a little volume on the roots. It smells EXACTLY like the shampoo and conditioner, so you won't have layered scents. What I love about this is that it does not get gritty like some other dry shampoos I have tried in the past (even if you accidentally use more than you intended), which makes this great for people new to using dry shampoo!

The soufflĂ© is interesting.
It has a very mousse-like foamy feel in your hands but it is silkier. Its pretty easy to apply evenly if you follow directions and use it on wet hair. Again, it smells exactly like the shampoo and conditioner so if you're using them together you'll have one scent all around. It noticeably volumizes, but not excessively. In my experience, if you're looking for a lot of volume, this works so much better if you use it after you use the Naked Volume shampoo and conditioner.
If you use it on dry hair, you'll want to stick to finger application to your roots instead of applying it to your whole head and you can even use it to smooth flyaways a little where you need it.

In closing, here is my honest advice:
If you have fine hair, or limp/flat hair and you need volume,
ALL of these products are perfect for you.

If you have dry/damaged hair, coarse hair, or a tendency to frizz and you want volume, you're much better off using a few products out of this kit at a time. I have damaged hair that is prone to frizz from bleaching/dying, razor cutting, accidently getting my hair caught in a car door on a regular basis, and anything else I can do to kill my hair xD
When I used all the products together, I got volume, but I also got some serious frizz a few hours in. If your hair is anything like mine, I recommend using the Naked Volume shampoo and conditioner with a smoothing serum, or using a smoothing shampoo and conditioner with the soufflĂ©. You won't get as much volume, but you also have a much lower chance of looking like a zombie that just stuck its finger in a light socket.
