SheerCover Studio

I really love SheerCover Studio  products! I like that you can look and feel like you just got your makeup done by a professional without all the fuss. I had minimal problems with the products (which is weird because makeup is something you can mess up easily). But if you're not experienced with these types of products, it could take a few times to learn how to get it right or to keep it from looking cakey.

The primer works just as good as pricey name brands I've bought.
The brushes are high quality and make everything apply smoothly.

The Conceal & Brighten Trio is so fun to use once you get the hang of it. It blends easily and covers flaws perfectly. There are a lot of tutorials on the internet that can help you learn to conceal and contour!

The Sun-Kissed Bronzing Minerals are probably one of the greatest things I've ever used. You can highlight, bronze, "blush", or shine. It can be used in so many different ways to really compliment your face and skin tone. I love that it has 3 shades so you can use them together or separately.

The Perfect Shade Mineral Foundation is just as wonderful. It is light weight, soft, and doesn't feel or look cakey. I also felt like it really matched my skin tone and made my skin look smooth and flawless.

Now comes the fun part. The Lengthening Mascara and Lash Extending Fibers. I am a mascara professional, but I've never used fibers before. It definitely took some getting used to. You layer mascara and then cotton candy-like fibers on your eyelashes. It looks incredible, but if you've never used anything other than mascara or falsies, it can be interesting to learn how. You're probably going to end up with fibers in your eyes and then mascara down the side of your face from trying to rub them out! Don't worry! It comes off! You'll get the hang of it and it is totally worth the effort!

All in all, I recommend trying the SheerCover line. Its great for beginners or if you just want everything in a kit. You won't be disappointed! I'm giving SheerCover a 4/5 because I feel like there should be more product for the price, but it is still worth purchasing!

Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara

Ladies, lets talk about Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara.

Let me just start off by saying that about 10 or so years ago... and in highschool, I didn't wear mascara. AT ALL. I've always been gifted with really long eye lashes and mascara has always had a tendency to make my eye lashes look long enough that people ask me if they're fake. Once upon a time, only real life strippers and *ahem* adult movie stars had fake eyelashes, so this result was undesirable to me.

Times have changed though and the falsies look is in and totally acceptable for anyone, so I started giving mascara a shot. Cue mascara addiction... I must have 12 tubes of mascara at all times or my head explodes. I have tried every mascara humanly possible.
I've liked a lot, hated a lot, and LOVED very few.

That's where this Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara comes in. I LOVE it. I adore it. I refuse to live without it! It gives me everything I want from a mascara.

The wand has a unique hour-glass shaped brush that flares your lashes out at the corners, while it extends along the whole lash. It seems to focus on the areas you need to lengthen the most. It really gives you that false eyelash look without having to actually put any on. I haven't had any issues with clumping, but as far as I'm concerned, clumping isn't a real issue and I sometimes want to smack women that complain about it. All mascara has the potential to clump, otherwise it wouldn't be thick enough to do anything other than stain your lashes. This is why we have brow brushes and eyelash combs. Fixes clumps right up. All women should know this, pass it on *wink*.

Give your lashes a little swipe to give them a really nice, incredibly long, and well defined look. Like this:

Or, give it a couple of layers (make sure you let it dry in between coats!) and add a little liner or eyeshadow to your lash lines to make them look full, thick, and dramatic like falsies!

Either way, this is by far one of the best mascaras I've come across.Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara hits store shelves this month. Give it a shot and see what you think!
